When I first began researching the true meaning of hunting for women, I had no idea what I was in store for.  At first I thought would get a lot of the same responses. Was I ever wrong.  I interviewed 50 women, and I am still being contacted by new women every week.  Thank you to all the women that have taken the time to write me.  I am learning more than I ever imagined I would.  I think some people hunt for many years before they discover the true why or meaning of the great outdoors.

SO MANY STORIES WHICH DO I TELL?

I believe that women and men will both enjoy hearing the stories of some very amazing people.  I had the opportunity to talk to a woman over 70 years old who still enjoys a day in the woods; she even hunts bear with a bow!  I have spoken to ladies that have trophies on their walls from all over the world. Tomorrow I will be interviewing the first couple to enter the Pope and Young record book.  I can’t wait to share some benefits of hunting that I have learned!

Hunting as a couple, good or bad idea?

Hunting as a couple is wonderful  thing, but I will also be offering information on how to get ladies involved with out your complete help.   Let’s face it; not all of us are good teachers.  A husband coaching a wife can have a disastrous outcome.  On the other hand, you might want to guide her step- by -step and it can work if it’s done right.  My father, brother and husband were first the ones to take me out.   I also had some private coaching at a pro shop and with shooting instructors.  It’s important to know that hunting can be done as a couple and alone.  Just because you introduce your spouse/daughter to hunting doesn’t mean you have to cancel that trip traditional hunting trip you go on every year with their buddies.  There are ways to compromise instead of cancelling the trip with the guys one could add an additional trip to take their spouse on.

TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY

Many women that I have spoken to were introduced to hunting at a young age by their grandpas, and dads. Plenty of women were introduced by their husbands and boyfriends and have completely built their relationships around it.  A handful of women had to beg their husband and father to hunt.   For that reason I decided to interview the guys too.  After all, there are two sides to every story.

Significant weight reduction is the driving factor in this growing category. Micro Guides steer the scales toward being six times lighter than traditional aluminum oxide guides. A total set of Micro Guides weighs next to nothing at only 0.025 ounces.

Micro Guides also increase rod sensitivity as the line is positioned lower on the blank, and casting distance increases because there’s less ‘line slap’ on the inserts.
