The operate Lindner Media Productions which produces various television shows including their own Angling Edge/Fishing Edge Television shows. They also make commercials for many of the biggest companies in the sport fishing industry.

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t fish. My earliest recollections are the summers I spent with my grandmother on a lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. For me it meant countless hours of fishing from shore or wading while collecting frogs, seining minnows, running through the woods with my friend from next door, and occasionally getting a chance to fish with my uncles in a boat. I also fished with my older brother, Ron, who was ten years my senior, when he came up for a two-week vacation. If I dug the worms, seined the minnows, fixed the tackle, and loaded the boat, he would take me out with him. He told me that everyone starts out first as a “worm boy” apprentice, and for years I believed him. These were idyllic and really innocent times.

Don House

Don House

I’m a US Coast Guard licensed full time fishing guide on Table Rock Lake and Taneycomo Lake for Bass, Crappie, Trout and Spoonbill. My specialty is deep water fishing tactics with many types of live and artificial baits. I have accumulated over 15 years of tournament fishing experience and refined the skills needed to teach you how to find and catch the fish you are looking for.

I started fishing back when I was a young boy living in Kansas City fishing for crappie, bass and trout in and around the Missouri and Kansas lakes and state parks. I grew up fishing at Bennett Springs State Park for rainbow trout with flies and fly rods and of course cheese balls. That’s for you Mom and Dad. My parents felt it was better to keep their boys busy with fishing, camping and Boy Scouts - all three of us are Eagle Scouts. Little did they know they were planting a seed that would grow in me, a son that fished for a living.

Devin Juel

Devin Juel

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, I was raised in Iowa and now live here with my wife, Krista, and sons, Derek and Jackson. I work full time as a firefighter/paramedic for the DMFD with a schedule that gives me plenty of time for hunting. I have always enjoyed being outdoors, but did not discover my true passion for hunting until later in life.

Since my first hunt, though, I have been hooked and spend every extra hour I have in the woods either hunting, patterning, scouting, or as a guide to my coworkers and friends. The sounds of nature, the thrill of being on a hunt and the spiritual connection spending time in the woods are what inspired me to share this time with others.

I started my own production company: HeadBone Productions and we launched our first show; Average Joe’s Huntin’ Show on the Pursuit Channel this year. In 2011 we will air season 2 of Average Joe’s Huntin’ Show and are adding another show to our production company family called; Kashin’ In. I am a member of the International Association of Firefighters, Local 4, National Rifle Association, Iowa Firearms, National Wild Turkey Federation - Sponsor Level, I-80 Gobblers Committee Member, Union Sportsman Alliance, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and the Izaak Walton League of America, Emerson Hough Chapter. I'm also a diehard Iowa Hawkeye and New York Yankee Fan!

Although she has always loved being outdoors it wasn’t until just recently that she finally put her dreams into action. As a mother of two, her children helped motivate her to learn the sport. Wanting to be a good mother and teach her children with her husband the all American sport of hunting and being outdoors. What other sport is there that you can actually get the whole family involved? Kristen is truly passionate about escalating the sport of hunting. Not only does she talk about it she is actually doing something about it. Besides her hunting goal she has also interviewed over 50 different women to find out why and how they began so she can help you get the women in your life involved in hunting. She has discovered fascinating reasons why women actually hunt. There is much more than the typical response of “I enjoy being outdoors.” She has interviewed women hunters from one end of the spectrum to the other. From “anti- hunters” to women who where “born hunters” she has talked to them all. Knowing why women hunt is half the battle to actually getting them to hunt.
